THE SWANSON FOUNDATION

Since our beginnings in 2006, we’ve been driven by the same core ideas we initially founded our Nonprofit Organization upon: community development and empowerment. With what started as a vehicle to provide academic scholarships to Oakland's graduating high school youth, we have now expanded to support the global Black community to meet nearly every challenge and achieve every endeavor their mind can conceive. What makes us unique is our approach to solving problems. We recognize that many of the barriers and disparities we face are the result of longstanding institutionalized ceilings and obstructions to progress that cannot be overcome with convention. Using the Alternative Roads to Success  (A.R.S.) methodology, we tackle issues and create solutions that are uniquely fitted for the communities we serve, technologically innovative, and global in impact. As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, we welcome you to join us in our endeavor to strengthen the economic and social development of the Black community.
